Katie is a self-taught singer with an alto range (E3 to E5).

​

She is a member of the Threshold Choir, an international nonprofit organization that provides music therapy at the bedsides of patients in hospice. With the Garden State Threshold Choir, she has sung for hundreds of patients across dozens of homes and healthcare facilities, and performs at funerals and memorial services upon request. She is a certified hospice volunteer with Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Atlantic Health System, and Compassionate Care Hospice.

In addition, while performing live on harp and keyboard, Katie is often called upon to provide backup vocals as well. To date, her live credits include backup vocals for progressive rock/metal bands Dark Beauty and Infinite Spectrum.
