Harpist

A classically trained harpist, Katie has studied with Susan Jolles, Jeanne Fintz Goldstein, and Cecilia Parker Chartoff.

Since 2007, Katie has provided harp music at weddings, church services, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and corporate events. Her repertoire includes classical, Broadway, Celtic, pop, rock, metal, movie soundtrack, and video game music.

​

In recent years, Katie has worked extensively as a session harpist for rock and metal bands. Her recording credits include releases on labels such as Inside Out (Century Media), Divebomb Records, and Sensory Records (Laser's Edge). Her live credits include opening for Tarja Turunen and playing at festivals such as ProgStock (2018), Sonic Voyage Fest (2020), and ProgStock Virtual (2020).

Above all, Katie enjoys taking the harp to new sonic places with the use of effects software and pedals. She experiments with new harp sounds in split-screen video covers of symphonic and progressive rock/metal songs. Her unique harp covers have been endorsed by many bands, including Ayreon, Delain, Kamelot, and Symphony X.

In addition to her commercial musical endeavors, Katie has served as a harp accompanist for church and children's choirs and as a harp soloist during charity events.
